Our French Heritage
St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas, was established more than a century ago by Father Edward Sorin, CSC, of the Congregation of Holy Cross, which was founded in Western France.
Recent Developments
Since 2000, St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas, has embarked on an ambitious strategic plan to be recognized as one of the best small universities in the United States. Since then, the university has garnered significant national attention for its commitment to students, including:
